Ginkgo leaves painted like butterflies represent resilience, transformation, and long life. At the epicenter of the atomic bomb blast in Hiroshima, Japan, six ginkgo trees survived and live enshrined today.
Butterflies, once ugly caterpillars, transformed into beautiful creatures of flight.
Today, we need hope for the butterflies and trees.
