We must provide safe drinking water for all people on Earth
Potable water is not exclusively a third-world problem. Today, seven states and three countries in the western region of America are negotiating over declining water levels, which is an example of a first-world problem.
After the Eaton Canyon fire in January 2025, my household water was contaminated, and the glaze I used for decades on this turquoise piece blistered. I kept the blisters as a warning while bathing with bottled water.
As climate change progresses, we will see more severe storms, longer droughts, and less available water.
